  1. What procedures and services are included in the Medallus membership?

    • The Medallus membership includes a wide range of procedures and services, covering primary care, urgent care, and more. Most procedures are included, but there are exceptions. Procedures such as labs that need to be sent out, DMEs (Durable Medical Equipment), vaccinations, DOT Physicals, and Covid Tests are not included.   2. Are there any discounts available for labs or other services not included in the membership?

    • Yes! We offer discounts on labs if paid at the time of service. We believe in providing cost-effective solutions for our members, and these discounts help make certain services more affordable.
  3. What is the duration of the Medallus membership agreement?

    • The Medallus membership agreement is initially set for 12 months. After the initial term, it transitions to a month-to-month membership. This allows flexibility and convenience for our members.
  4. How can I cancel my Medallus membership?

    • To cancel your Medallus membership, please notify us in writing. You can do so by sending an email to [email protected]. We kindly ask for written notice to ensure accurate processing of the cancellation request.

  6. Can I cancel my membership if I move to a location more than 25 miles away from a Medallus clinic?

    • Yes, if you relocate to a location more than 25 miles away from a Medallus clinic, you can cancel your membership. A small cancellation fee may apply in such cases. Please contact our membership department for further assistance.
  7. What is Direct Primary Care (DPC)?

    • Direct Primary Care (DPC) is a membership-based healthcare model that focuses on providing comprehensive primary and urgent care services for a monthly fee. With the Medallus Membership, you gain unlimited access to our network of clinics, ensuring convenient and affordable healthcare.
  8. Can I use my Medallus membership at any Medallus clinic?

    • Yes! Your Medallus membership grants you access to any of our 8 Medallus clinics located across Utah. Choose the clinic that is most convenient for you and receive quality care from our experienced medical professionals.
  9. Can I add my family members to my Medallus membership?

    • Absolutely! Medallus offers the flexibility to add your family members to your membership. You can add eligible family members, such as your spouse and children, to your plan for an additional fee. Please refer to our membership details for more information on family plan pricing.
  10. What happens if I need specialized care or services not offered by Medallus?

    • While Medallus covers a wide range of services, there may be occasions when you require specialized care or services that are not offered within our clinics. In such cases, our medical professionals will guide you and provide appropriate referrals to trusted specialists or facilities.
  11. How does the TeleMed service work for MedallusCare members?

    • As a MedallusCare (corporate) member, you have access to TeleMed services through our partnership with RecuroHealth. This virtual healthcare option allows you to have remote consultations with healthcare professionals via video or phone calls. It provides convenient access to medical advice and consultations from the comfort of your own home or office.
  12. Can I still use my Medallus membership if I have health insurance?

    • Absolutely! Medallus membership is not insurance and can be used in addition to your health insurance coverage. It provides an affordable and convenient primary care option that complements your insurance benefits.
